For analysis, 188 male and female adults attending senior leisure programs in welfare centers in medium sized cities were selected, and they were asked about their personality trait, activity types, and physical and psychological wellness changes after the programs from 2010 until 2011. The results are as follows: First, 58% accounts three major participation types such as pre-contemplation stage of intimate interests and active involvement, leading stage of program research and absorbtion, and final stages of social exchanges and program maintenances with peer participants. Second, the physical and psychological wellness is higher in the middle stage of program leading and further investigation than early stages. Third, perceived health improvement is the highest for active self-developing and tradition respecting personality and married group than restrained single living class. As a improving strategy, this study recommends that art activity programs need to be provided more for low education, low income, and conservative adults. In addition, it is also suggested that the program be implemented in combined form of welfare services and social exchange empowerment activities.
